Public U-Pick
Kids U-Pick August 1st 2024
This event is an open house style event where you, your family, and friends can come out and walk through our flower gardens and hand select the blooms you want to take home and arrange. Come early because the best blooms always go first!
Mommy and Me U-pick
August 9th
This public U-pick is an event special for mom/mom figures/grandma and their kids young or old! This event is an open house style where you can come and go as you please. Enjoy walking around the flower field with your loved ones picking flowers. We will have a Photo Booth set up to capture the fun you had! Tickets are not required to purchase before the event.
Breaths, Brews and Blooms
Coming August 3rd and September 21st
This event is one you don’t want to miss! Three great ways to fill your cup starting with yoga, working with your hands arranging local flowers and drinking locally brewed beer. Breaths, Brews, and Blooms will take place in the grass area across from Bremer Brewing where we will start with relaxing yoga poses. We will then head to the brewery for drinks and food while we arrange our locally grown flowers. This ticket will include $1 off a pour.
Waverly Silent Book Club at the Farm
COMING JULY 8th @ 6-8
Grab your book and lawn chair and enjoy an evening socializing and reading on the farm. This is a free event open to the public organized by the Silent Book Club. The first 30 minutes will be socializing followed by an hour of uninterrupted reading. After reading will be 30 minutes of socializing. During the socializing time we will have jars available for purchase to pick your own flowers.
Heavenly Harpist
COMING AUGUST 4th, 2024
Come join us at the farm to listen to the beautiful sounds of the harp played by Heavenly Harpist. Ariel has been playing the harp since she was ten years old and plays at weddings, garden parties, cocktail hours, funerals and more. Please bring your lawn chair and enjoy the evening surrounded by flowers and the sounds of the harp. U-pick will be available but not required for attendance.
Brews and Blooms
Coming August 17th, 2024
Join us at the Bremer Brewing Company for an evening of amazing local beers and fresh local flowers. This private event will feature everything you need to create your own arrangement of flowers (including instruction if you need it!) and will take place in the relaxed atmosphere of the second floor of BBC.
Flower Arranging at Doughy Joey’s
July 16th and September 10th @6:00
Join us at Doughy Joey’s as we teach you flower arranging fundamentals with our locally grown flowers. Enjoy dinner or a drink while you play around with our flowers to make an arrangement just for you.
Yoga on the Farm
July 6th, August 11th, September 7th
Enjoy the serene environment of being surrounded by flowers as you do relaxing yoga poses with Jacqueline Jeffcoat-Schedtler. She has been a yoga enthusiast for over 20 years and has instructed yoga for many years including at the W in Waverly. After you have relaxed, we will take you out to the flower field where you can fill a jar full of flowers to take home with you.
Designing Large Arrangements
August 24th at 9:00 AM
We will teach you floral techniques for designing in a large vessel for a statement centerpiece. We will first select the flowers in our flower field and bring them into our workspace to design. This class includes a large vessel for you to take home and will be at our newly renovated barn!
Flower Press Workshop
September 7th
We will teach you the basic art of flower pressing. This workshop will be held at the farm where you will pick flowers from the flower field to press. Each ticket includes a flower press and supplies.
Pumpkin Decorating Workshop
October 7th, October 14th, October 19th
This workshop is a great fall activity! We will offer a variety of pumpkins to choose from and a large selection of our dried flowers. Enjoy drinks and food from Bremer Brewing while we really get into fall decorating.
